Boilies — selective for big carp
A boilie is a boiled ball of flours, eggs and attractors. It’s hard, survives for hours and is too big for small fish, so it targets bigger carp and grass carp.
Size, buoyancy and flavour
Use 15–20 mm bottom baits for feeding and the same, or pop-ups and wafters, on the hook. Fruity, sweet flavours often shine in summer; fishy and spicy ones in spring, autumn and on pressured waters. Match feed and hookbait from the same range.
