Terms and conditions of sale

2. Scope
2.1. These terms govern the sale of goods through the online shop sportex-fishing.md to consumers and other buyers.
2.2. The laws of the Republic of Moldova apply, in particular the Civil Code (Articles 1013–1019, 1059–1065), Law No. 105/2003 on consumer protection and Law No. 284/2004 on electronic commerce. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights.
2.3. The website is available in Romanian, Russian and English. The contract is concluded in the language you choose when ordering; if the versions differ, the Romanian version prevails.
3. Products and prices
3.1. The main characteristics of each product are shown on its product page. Images are illustrative; colours may look slightly different depending on your screen.
3.2. Prices are shown in Moldovan lei (MDL) and are the final price of the goods. Nova Post delivery is not included and is paid to the carrier (see "Delivery and payment"). If you choose another display currency, prices in that currency are for information only.
3.3. Prices and offers are valid at the time you place your order and while they are shown on the site. Promotions are valid for the stated period and while stocks last.
4. How the contract is concluded
4.1. Steps: choose products and add them to the cart → enter your contact and delivery details → choose delivery and payment methods → review your order (you can correct any input error before confirming by going back to earlier steps or to the cart) → confirm with the order button that places an order with an obligation to pay.
4.2. After you place your order you will receive an e-mail confirming that we received it. The contract is concluded when we confirm your order (by e-mail or phone). If an item is no longer available or the displayed price was obviously wrong, we will tell you and you may cancel the order; any amount paid is refunded in full within 14 days at the latest.
4.3. We store the text of your order and send it to you by e-mail; it is also available in your customer account, if you have one.
5. Payment
You can pay online by card via maib, by cash on delivery (cash when you collect the Nova Post parcel), or in the store on pickup. Details are on the "Delivery and payment" page. You enter your card details on the secure maib page; the shop does not receive or store them.
6. Delivery
Delivery is by Nova Post or store pickup, on the terms of the "Delivery and payment" page. The minimum order value for Nova Post delivery within Moldova is 500 MDL. The minimum order value for shipping outside Moldova is 1500 MDL. In-store pickup has no minimum. If the cart is below this amount, the shop asks you to add items in order to place an order with delivery. The store is at 9/4 Liviu Deleanu St., Chisinau, Moldova The risk of loss of or damage to the goods passes to you when you (or a person you name, other than the carrier) take possession of them.
7. Right of withdrawal
Consumers may withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving the goods without giving a reason. The conditions, withdrawal form and refunds are described on the "Returns and 14-day withdrawal" page, which forms part of these terms.
8. Non-conforming goods and warranty
For defective or non-conforming goods you have the rights provided by Law No. 105/2003 (repair, replacement, price reduction or refund). Details are on the "Returns and 14-day withdrawal" page, section 7.
9. Personal data
We process data under Law No. 195/2024 — see the "Privacy policy" and "Cookie policy".
10. Complaints and disputes
10.1. You can send complaints to info@sportex-fishing.md, make them by phone or hand them in writing at the store; we reply within 14 calendar days at the latest.

10.3. Disputes are settled amicably or, failing that, by the competent court of the Republic of Moldova. Consumers may also bring proceedings in the court where they live, as provided by law.
11. Copyright
The website's texts, images and design are protected. Copying them for commercial purposes without our written consent is prohibited. Manufacturers' trademarks belong to their owners.
12. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms; each order is governed by the version in force when it was placed.
