Description

For fans of light tackle fishing, Megabass has released a smaller model of its old hit X-80 Trick Darter called X-80 Jr. 65 millimeters long and weighing 7 grams. The large model has been famous for many years for its simply fantastic catchability and liveliness, both on a regular and jerky retrieve, and has become a welcome guest in the boxes of many spinning players.

For example, the acidic colors of this model, so beloved by pike, have become a real shortage here - this also speaks of the mega-popularity of this minnow. Megabass X-80 Jr. awaits no less popularity than his older brother, this can be said with confidence for a number of reasons.

The new model is thrown with a light, well-balanced set, at a sufficient distance: you need to take into account that this minnow is not a search bait, its specificity is rather to work at local points where the useful casting distance is small.

Due to its smaller dimensions, as well as reduced weight, the bait has become more lively and nimble, especially on a jerky retrieve - such mobile small-sized wobblers are often able to stir up the most passive predator and force it to bite.

In wiring, this model is very simple and unpretentious, and twitches perfectly both with smooth short pulls with the recoil of the cord, and with angry sharp strikes of the rod tip. Moreover, the stronger the twitches, the more chaotic the yaw of this minnow becomes; in addition to blockages on the sides, quite noticeable exits to the vertical appear in its game.

Not a single predator located in the area where the bait passes can resist such an object fluttering chaotically in the water column; spinning anglers usually say about such wobblers that they “catch all living things in the water.” X-80 Jr. catches excellently. and on stretches with a rod, interspersed with pauses, the duration of which, as well as the length and sharpness of the stretches, can be varied, adapting to the mood of the predator at the current moment.

The model attracts with its game not only our traditional predators such as pike, perch and pike perch, but periodically catches even peaceful fish - for example, occasionally large crucian carp and rudd are caught.
