Description
Megabass is one of the few Japanese brands that often pleases spinning anglers with new products; this time their catalog of wobblers is replenished with a new model, we are talking about the Oneten series, namely the Oneten Max LBO bait.
Oneten Max LBO is a new minnow that is equipped with the LBO II long-distance casting system, implemented using a channel and a cylinder with ball bearings inside it. Vanten Max will be an enlarged version of Oneten LBO, but a simple proportional increase in the body of the bait will negatively affect its behavior in the water, it is for this reason that the engineers made changes.
The Oneten Max body was made significantly thinner and the overall shape narrowed. The presence of the LBO II system, which, in addition to its main purpose, performs the function of balancing the bait, made it possible to give the wobbler stable, active play even with uniform wiring.
Previously, we could notice similar behavior in the Kanata 160F from the same Megabass. The length of Oneten Max LBO is 135 mm, this is one of the most versatile and popular sizes among our spinners. Wobbler weight is 3/4oz. (21 grams), the wobbler will work comfortably with spinning rods with a test range from 7 to 28 grams.
Buoyancy – positive (Floating). The degree of buoyancy of the bait can be changed by equipping it with a metal leash or replacing the fittings with heavier ones, that is, making it Slow Floating. The recommended presentation for a predator, be it perch or pike, as for all minnow-type baits, is twitching; on twitching, the bait will fully reveal itself and help you get away from “zero”.
Experiments with pauses are encouraged.
