Description

Megabass has closed the gap in its wobbler line by releasing the I-Slide swimbait model in three sizes: I-Slide 262 with a length of 262 mm and weighing 170 g, I-Slide 185 with a length of 185 mm and weighing 56 g, and finally, the smallest in the series - I-Slide 135B, with a length of 135 mm and weighing only 28 g (1 oz.).

According to the Japanese classification, these lures are called swimbaits, but here, with the light hand of Konstantin Kuzmin, the name TBS has taken root - sinking bladeless baits. These baits, which frighten many at first glance, are very simple in operation.

When guiding with light, short stretches, which can be performed either rhythmically or rather chaotically, any high-quality hip joint glides very beautifully and widely. Moreover, this is not the twitchy yaw of a minnow, but an imposing and lazy passage to the side - the pike really loves such a leisurely movement of the bait.

Even a heavy-duty TBS is not at all stubborn when inserted, since it lacks a deepening blade. One of the advantages of the I-Slide is that it does not load the tackle at all when retrieving, and any rod can handle it within the limits of its test.

The smallest I-Slide model, weighing only 28 g, is the most versatile - heavier versions require special multiplier gear and a fairly powerful rod. The size of 135 mm should also not scare our average spinning player; in a good way, this is practically the length of the O.S.P Rudra or Deps Balisong Minnow 130, which is familiar and understandable to many.

This TBS sinks at an average speed, and the comfortable horizon for its wiring is literally from the very surface to a meter; if you need to move it deeper, you just make the bait a little heavier, replacing the original tees with a larger size.

Retrieving is carried out with light short pulls - approximately the same way we lead a walker, and after each pull you need to loosen the cord, allowing the bait to make a full move to the side. If we want to move the I-Slide 135B directly along the surface, then simply after splashing down with a few quick pulls of the vertically raised rod, we bring it to the surface and continue to drive it at such a brisk pace, preventing it from sinking under the water.

When fishing in the water column, we simply let the bait sink to the required horizon and then lead it there at an average speed. It should be taken into account that all TBS, when retrieved continuously without pauses, tend to rise along an inclined path to the surface, therefore, after every two to four pulls, a short pause should be given, during which the bait descends to the previous retrieve horizon.

On moderately strong pulls, the I-Slide 135B simply glides widely, and with increasing strength and length of pulls, strong rolls appear on the sides in its movements, which make its yaw even more impressive.

A very good and consistently catching bait for pike when fishing in shallow waters and in the coastal zone of a reservoir. Pay attention! The degree of buoyancy of a wobbler can vary depending on the water temperature.

Slow Sinking at 10°C 〜 15°C. To change the degree of buoyancy, we recommend replacing hooks or winding rings.
