Description
DX-Free 2.0 is a bait with a passport depth of 2 meters, aimed at catching large predators. The flight qualities of the DX-Free 2.0 are truly outstanding: the model is equipped with a long-distance casting system with one large tungsten ball, which moves to the tail during flight, and when the retrieve begins, it rolls back to the head, where it takes its working position.
This crank belongs to the class of divers (divers), since from the very first centimeters of the retrieve it goes into the depths along a steep trajectory, very quickly reaching its working horizon and stays there throughout the entire retrieve.
Lures of this type are very good because they allow you to maximize the working length of the wire, while a simple crank, for example, reaches its working horizon, going deeper along an inclined line and losing up to a third of the length of the wire.
The game is medium-frequency and medium-amplitude, with strong lateral oscillations during movement - this pattern is very typical for large deep-water cranks. The oscillations of the body along with the glare of the sides make such a bait very noticeable to a predator.
DX-Free 2.0 also adds noticeability to the rhythmic knock of a large heavy ball when retrieving, Americans call this rhythmic sound metronome sound; spinning anglers have long noticed that pike, for example, really like this sound of wobblers.
All cranks require the simplest uniform wiring, which can be diversified with various slowdowns, accelerations and pauses, but deep-sea models lend themselves very well to twitching - a sudden change in the wiring pattern can immediately bring a bite.
The DX-Free 2.0 catches not only pike, pike perch and perch - catfish may well be tempted by such a large bait.
