Description
Salmo DIAMOND CARP spinning reel with baitrunner – a solid spinning reel for carp fishing. The reel's mechanism, assembled with high precision, is distinguished by increased reliability and durability. The carp theme in the mechanism's design implies the presence of a baitrunner – a device for adjustable line release when the fish bites, with subsequent function deactivation at the start of the fight. DIAMOND CARP has two states – waiting and fighting. In the first position, the drag is in a slightly relaxed state. At the moment of the initial, most powerful jerk, when the fish bites, the tackle can unwind with some force, pre-set by the angler. To switch to fighting, simply take the carp rod in hand and start turning the handle. The second mode will activate automatically. It is important not to forget to set everything correctly in advance, considering the strength of the tackle used. The DIAMOND CARP body is made of a durable and lightweight material, carboplast. The main spool is made of aluminum with a titanium nitride-coated lip, and the additional one is made of graphite. The handle is designed for right/left-hand installation and has a screw-type fixation.
