Description
When every centimeter counts, maximum casting performance is required. The TRIUMPH Contest was specially developed for anglers who push their limits – whether during daily fishing or in international casting competitions.
It’s your tool for record distances, designed for maximum performance under competitive conditions. The blank is made from Japanese high-performance carbon by Toray and is fully geared towards long-distance casting.
The extremely stiff backbone construction ensures an explosive release during casting, while the tuned tip action provides precise cushioning during the fight – ensuring the hook stays firmly in the fish’s mouth, even with powerful fighters.
Especially notable is the minimal oscillation after casting – even during power casts with full body movement, the blank returns to its starting position in a split second. The result: direct, loss-free power transmission and a clearly noticeable increase in control and range.
Thanks to the stable KW SIC distance casting guides (50mm starting guide), the line glides smoothly through the guides with minimal resistance. The carbon reel seat with dual hood system ensures a firm reel fit and enables optimal balance for long, powerful casts.
A robust, ergonomically shaped split EVA handle completes the package and gives you the control you need, even during the most powerful casts. Conclusion: This rod is no compromise – it’s a statement.
For anyone who wants to go further than the rest.
