Description
Orient Rods Stiff Line SPOD/MARKER BRAID is a tightly braided four-strand PE for carp waters. High-modulus polyethylene and a special tensioning process give a thinner diameter with high breaking strain and almost no stretch. An impregnation adds stiffness for power spod casts and marker work. Colour: fluo yellow. 0.14 mm / 15 lb / 6.8 kg / 300 m.
Compared with 8-strand braids, the 4-strand construction scuffs less on the rings, springs back so it is harder to wrap the tip, knots well even after use, and holds abrasion at a thinner diameter. Dress the spool with a line polish if you want less wind resistance.
